Jenna Davis

Jenna Davis is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is comprised of abstract painting, collage, and photography. Her work explores themes of mental health and feminism, creating a narrative around her own relationship with sex and journey to self-love. Through her art, Davis seeks to highlight the beauty of human connection, portray femininity as a source of strength, and amplify the female voice. In addition, cope through her mother’s decline in health. She incorporates text in her work in order to make strong statements that align with her experience and emotions. She frequently employs scale as a point of emphasis, and draws inspiration from kinesthetic art. Davis is finishing her BFA in Fine Arts with an Arts in Healthcare minor at Columbia College Chicago. She plans to obtain a Masters in Art Therapy post graduation to continue her passion for mental health through art expression.
